Press Release: Kent State Libertarians and Kent State Young Americans for Liberty Merge to Form Coalition Group

Kent, July 26 2010 - Members of the Kent State Libertarians and the Kent State Young Americans for Liberty met Monday night to discuss a plan of action set forth by Libertarian activist Corey Moore and YAL member Maggie Dickerson. This plan included a motion to combine the groups into a new organization called K-SLA, or Kent Student Liberty Alliance. The mission of K-SLA is to promote the philosophy and message of liberty to Kent State University and the surrounding community. It functions as an umbrella organization for Libertarian Party members, libertarian Republicans and Democrats, market anarchists, left libertarians, individualists and Objectivists.

K-SLA (Kent Student Liberty Alliance) is an independent activist organization dedicated to the ideas of liberty, justice, peace, freedom and freed markets.
